Cantina Sociale “Ai Vini delle Langhe”, a winemaking co-op, was incorporated in 1904 in the city council room of Serralunga’s Town Hall presided by Mr. Giacomo Oddero, a notary public and a youthful Alfredo Prunotto as a witness.

Prunotto’s vineyards extend over an area of approximately 65 hectares (161 acres) in the territories of The Langhe and Monferrato and are subdivided into smaller parcels of land and single vineyards.

Prunotto reveals its territory’s rich heritage and unique attributes in each bottle of wine, capturing the thousands of different expressions that each vineyard parcel is able to reflect. A continuous challenge between tradition and innovation to accentuate authentic terroir characteristics through native and non-indigenous grape varieties.

The historic Langhe area is located in southern Piedmont between the provinces of Cuneo and Asti in one of the most beautiful and captivating winemaking areas in Italy.
